The Sennheiser Set 840 is a Radio Frequency Stereo TV listening system ideally suited for personal wireless TV listening. The headset amplifies the audio source independent of the TV speaks so others in the room can enjoy audio at a comfortable volume while the headset user chooses their own amplified volume. The Set840 uses radio frequency transmission to transmit sound from the base/charger to the headset. This radio frequency technology allows users to move from room to room while wearing the headset with out sound interference up to 328 feet away from the transmitter. The light-weigh, 3 oz headset is comfortable to wear for long periods of time and utilizes flexible, replaceable silicone ear tips. Ergonomic controls and visual feedback volume controls make Set 840 easy to use. The Sennheiser Set840 can be connected directly to your TV, hi-fi system or radio. The headset charges in approximately 3 hours and plays audio for approximately 9 hours before requiring a recharge. The headset automatically shuts off sound when not placed on the user's head to conserve energy.
